Looks like those Bush tax cuts for the rich aren't working 'cause the jobless
rate is still sky high with those Republicans in the House. Maybe Rush is

OTTAWA — There were 3,000 additional people employed across the country last
month, Statistics Canada said Friday.
The unemployment rate fell to 7.9 eight per cent for October from eight per
cent in September
Economists were expecting job gains of 15,000 and the jobless rate to stay at
eight per cent, coming off a loss of 6,600 jobs in September.
With changes of less than 10,000 positions, Statistics Canada considered the
overall employment figures "virtually unchanged" for the second month in a

There were gains of 47,000 full-time employees in October, almost entirely
offset by 44,000 fewer part-timer workers.
Statistics Canada said employment has grown by 375,000 since October last
year, with most of those gains concentrated in the first half of this year.
