Noted novelists new narrative! Well...at least the werewolf isnt
evil so thats a big departure from the usual take on the idea...

Cool.
Check out the story on NPR...theres a link to an excerpt. I COULDNT
FINISH IT BECAUSE IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO BORING!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!!!!
Hmmm, she does seem to be a tad bit overwordy, IMO.
There was a good analysis of how it CAME TO BE that she'd write a book
about it on Entertainment Weekly. She knows some people on a tv show and
stuff...yada...yada...liked one of the male leads who *plays* a
werewolf...
The *lady* does have quite an imagination.
Indubitably!
I might sit thru a movie version of it...mebbe...OH LOOK A PENNY!!!!!
<scampers off>
Heh.
Actually the books setting in Northern Cali reminds me of a much better
werewolf novel...which I shall have to google...
Hmmmm, don't think I've read that one.
I cant find it on the internets...its about this lawyer who
buys/finds/inherits? a set of silver fangs in a box. He finally puts
them in his mouth and they magically transform him into a werewolf. Its
prolly one of the best novels in the genre for action and adventure.
Really quite a gripping page turner.

Sounds like fun (and strangely evocative of someone whose name will not
be spoken). I'll have to look it up and see if I can find it.

Having trouble with my newsreader or I'd've said sooner: You're thinking of

Yeah, I figured it out after reading 3 anthologies of werewolf
literature. It was mentioned in the forward in one of them. Hey, ever

a diabetic death sentence and I see no evidence that he's eating right

It's rather obvious that he can't control himself or nhe wouldn't be
prancing around in a wolf-suit and high heels !!

Please join me in helping him get SAVED beforen it's too late !!

You know how much Wolfus-boi is hurting inside and needs to repent and

Eh, I can skip past it; I was reading early enough that all I had to work
with were my mother's Harlequin Romance novels. Trust me, you quickly
learn how to skim past the "throbbing white-hot passion in her bosom" and
"the fiery heat of their passion" and "he pressed his body close against
her, his hips moving in an ancient rhythm"... bleah. It's a miracle I
didn't become illiterate in self-defense.

How's the plot? Not too horribly cliche, I hope (and "prey")?

mini-synopsis: cowboy hero rides into deserted town to find one survivor
and a bunch of werewolves come back from the dead...dead conquistadores
led by a huge devil wolf.
