Discussion:
Anyone have a more complete history of this Newsgroup?
(too old to reply)

I know it's a long shot, but maybe someone still has their first computer sitting around and within it a more complete copy of the early years of the newsgroup, or maybe an ancient backup of their newsreader. There are many who are interested in the history of this place and would love to have a more complete copy than what google provides.

Darkmoon and I will see if his friend still has his old Atari, and, provided it boots up, will see if we can get the old files off of it.

It's a distant chance, but who knows? Maybe someone else has archives.

The basic theme
was on my harddisk

so I decided to make
something out of it.
I'm afraid things in
this XM didn't go as I
wanted them to...
Anyway, it's the

release at least one

It might as well be
this one :-P

Archive.org has a partial copy, but it's also missing some. It's missing different files than google, though.
